Orangeville Fire Protection District & Volunteer Fire Department (OVFD)

The Fire Protection District was established in 1948, and has a 30-person volunteer fire department. The OVFD constantly updates its firefighting and rescue equipment through fund-raising events such as the Firemen's Festival — held every summer since 1950 — a spring consignment auction and more.
